You Shouldn't Be Broke. The reason why you are broke is YOU. So let's dive into what I have for you today.
Research has it that over 60% - 70% of businesses failed due to the lack of sales. And the only way to make real money is the continous inflow of sales.
But it's a pity that most people don't know how to sell. If you are broke right now it's because of one of these two reasons.
1. You don't have a product to sell. Which means you are not selling anything. If you are on this table, how exactly do you expect yourself to make money. Look at the richest people around the world. They have one or two things they are selling. If you don't have anything you're selling presently, you need to get one...
What can you sell?
1. You can sell your product (physical or digital)
2. You can sell other people's products (Affiliate marketing)
3. You can sell your skill Eg, graphic design, copywriting, Web design etc.
Let's move to the next reason why you're broke.
2. You have what to sell but you don't know how to sell. This is one of the reasons why a lot of people are still broke. They have skills, they have business but they don't even have any money because they don't know how to sell.
What should you do?
1. The first thing you must do is be intentional about it, make a decision today that no matter what it takes you, you are ready to know how to make sales.
2. The pareto principle says 20% of the people in any industry or business enjoy 80% of the benefits. Make a decision today to be among this 20%.
3. Learn these 3 skills
a. Copywriting
b. Traffic generation
c. Closing
4. Read books: This is also very very important but a lot of people don't read. Read atleast one book every week. Due to the fact that a lot of people don't read, this will take you ahead of other people
5. Use YouTube and Google: Make these two platforms your friend. There are lot of people free information here especially when you don't have money yet to buy courses. Don't just wait till you have money, start with YouTube. You can learn everything and anything on YouTube.
6. Sell: (This will be the last but not the least I'll be sharing with you). The best way to learn something is to do that thing. So, the best way to know how to sell is to actually sell.
