Ecobank has given us the opportunity to create our virtual card online so what you are going to do if you want to create your own virtual card is to download Ecobank mobile app on the Google Play store or app store.
After downloading the app, they will ask you to sign up. All you need is your email address and your phone number to create it.
They will ask you whether you have an Ecobank account already or you are new to Ecobank.
Your answer here should be "I am new to Ecobank then you proceed from there and enter your details, your country your telephone number, and stuff.
After that place, you will be given some security questions to answer and when you answer the questions your Ecobank express account will create.
Ok now that you've created your Ecobank express account.
What you need to do is to deposit money into your account to top up your credit card or to create your credit card.
You will need to send money from your mobile Money number to your Ecobank account.
You must send at least 25 cedis and when you are done depositing the money into your account, you will see the card at the bottom of your phone or when you are you are inside the app you will see card there then you will click on it.
After you click on card you will see virtual card at the top, click on it
You will see this visa card and click on it again, after that there will be another pop-up that will ask you whether you want to create a gift card or a shopping card so here what you will need to do is to click on shopping card.
From there, you will be asked to enter the amounts between 25 cedis 5,000 cedis
They will ask you to enter your telephone number and your email then you click on create card then the card will be created automatically and you will be given the chance to view the details on the card. The card number, the expiry date, and the CVV security code.
So this is how you can create your eco Bank visa card online.
