Dani Alves of Barcelona has described Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool as the greatest right-back in the world right now.

Alves, who is now 38 years old, is widely considered as one of the greatest right-backs of all time and made his return to Camp Nou earlier this season.

With 42 pieces of silverware under his belt, the Brazilian has an incredible record of winning the most trophies in his career.

Because of his marauding runs and pin-point crossing abilities, the legendary fullback is widely regarded as an idol for modern-day offensive fullbacks.

When asked who he thinks is the best right-back in the world right now, the Barcelona veteran said Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Alves also stated that he admires PSG fullback Achraf Hakimi, but Alexander-Arnold is the crème of the crop.

'A terrific footballer with world-class skills,' the 38-year-old has praised Liverpool's number 66.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Alves added, "I particularly like the one from Liverpool, Alexander Arnold." "I like Hakimi as well, with certain caveats, but I enjoy what he does." He (Alexander-Arnold) is a terrific footballer with world-class abilities."

Dani Alves has made an immediate impression since returning to Barcelona, appearing in 10 games for the Blaugrana this season.

Since taking over as manager of the Catalan giants, Xavi Hernandez has done a great job, and Alves' expertise has proved invaluable to the Spaniard. Alves has one goal and three assists in his second stay at Camp Nou, and even at the end of his career, he still looks incredible.

Throughout his career, the Brazilian has performed admirably for clubs such as Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, and Sao Paulo.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be remembered fondly by Barcelona fans.

Despite Alves' admiration for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Barcelona supporters will not remember him fondly.

With his outstanding vision and crossing ability, the Liverpool right-back has already punished many teams, but he utterly embarrassed the Blaugrana in the Champions League in 2019.

His rapid thinking resulted in the iconic 'corner taken swiftly' moment that sealed Liverpool's 4-0 comeback triumph in a CL semi-final at Anfield in 2019. Liverpool's youthful full-back, who came through the club's development, is an amazing talent.

The England international, who is still only 23, appears to be improving every season and has earned a spot among the finest full-backs in the world.
