As I type, social media is crushing me. This is because a sidekick to Ghana's president has revealed some surprising details about the country's first gentleman. This occurred during a Loudsilence TV interview between Evelyn Serwaa aka Serwaa Broni and Kelvin Taylor, host of 'With All Due Respect.'
The almost two-hour interview covered a wide range of topics, including Nana Addo's close relationship with the self-described lesbian, a robbery attack she claims was arranged by the presidency, and alleged recompense for the violent deed meted out to the lady.
The allegation that a sitting member of parliament pressed Broni to publish the president's topless photos is an important revelation worth discussing. According to Serwaa, the said MP is Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Marveric Legislator for Assin Central.
The enraged lady went on to say that following the attack, she visited with the NPP MP at the Kempenski hotel and told him about her ordeal. Kennedy Agyapong urged Serwaa to publish images of herself with the president if she had them, after convincing himself that national security had taken her phone and hacked her social media accounts.
To prove her point, Serwaa said she went ahead and published the photos, including one in which the president went topless in a hotel room. The woman, who acknowledged to suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, went on to say that she has recordings with the president as well, but that she will only release them with her lawyers' approval.
Many Ghanaians have advocated for the president's impeachment since this interview aired. According to Sammy Gyamfi, it is past time for Ghana's constitution to bite for the first time.
