With Lionel Messi's statement, Sergio Aguero mocks Cristiano Ronaldo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Sergio Aguero of Manchester City has mocked Alejandro Garnacho and Cristiano Ronaldo after they enjoyed a touching moment for Manchester United on Saturday. Garnacho, who was named in the matchday squad against Norwich, was an unused replacement in the win over the Canaries.
The thrilling Ronaldo-inspired triumph, on the other hand, proved to be another memorable moment for the Argentinian starlet, and he was presented with a unique gift. Ronaldo was seen giving up the match ball to Garnacho after dispatching the bottom-placed Canaries with a devastating hat-trick.
The Madrid-born teenager was called up by Argentina last month after being a prominent player for the U18s on their way to the FA Youth Cup final this season. He has previously represented Spain at various youth levels.
Garnacho was rubbing shoulders with Ronaldo's long-time adversary Lionel Messi, and the two are widely recognized as two of the greatest players in history. Of course, everyone has a favorite, but Garnacho may have found the coin flip decision more difficult to make than the average person.
Garnacho, who is still only 18 and can already name Ronaldo and Messi comrades, has been predicted for greatness in his own career, but that hasn't stopped compatriot Aguero from teasing him.
Garnacho greeted his Instagram followers by posting a photo of himself with Ronaldo. "Greatest of all time..." he wrote.
Garnacho tagged Ronaldo and added goat, football, fire, and love heart emojis, which Aguero quickly responded to. "Because you still didn't play with the best pa @leomessi," he replied. Aguero seemed to be having a good time with it all, and he even threw in a cool guy emoji for good measure.
