Sheffield United claim draw at Bristol City
Bristol City have taken five points from their past three matches
Play-off-chasing Sheffield United battled back to claim a point in an exciting encounter at Bristol City.
The away side had much the better of it in the first half but it was the home side who took the lead against the run of play after the break when Chris Martin slotted in from Antoine Semenyo's low centre.
Morgan Gibbs-White levelled for United with an acrobatic volley after Dan Bentley had parried Enda Stevens' initial shot.
Both teams pushed on in search of a winning goal but a draw was ultimately a fair result as the injury-hit Blades stayed sixth.
Paul Heckingbottom's men are one point ahead of seventh-placed Millwall, having played the same amount of games.
He will have felt his side should have gone in ahead at the break, with Gibbs-White forcing a smart save from Dan Bentley in the home goal and Iliman Ndiaye blazing over when he should have scored after being played in on goal.
