A/R: 3 captured, manhunt for 'fighters' in supposed burglary at mining site
Three male grown-ups who schemed and looted individuals at mining destinations around Tweapease in the Ashanti locale have been charged, sources acquainted with the advancement have told dailymailgh.com.
The supplication of the suspects who have been accused of theft, among others was not taken when they showed up under the watchful eye of a circuit court at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region, last Thursday (14 April 2022), the source said.
Police in Obuasi gave their names as Daniel Fianko, 42, Joseph Oduro Asare, 37yrs, and 35-year-old Richard Amoako. They have been remanded into police by the court to return on April 28, 2022.
Police report
An occurrence report gave by the police and located by dailymailgh.com uncovered that the suspects, some of whom were in military uniform were caught while installed a Toyota Landcruiser Prado vehicle with enrollment number GE 9111-22.
They had entered mining locales around Tweapease, close to Obuasi and were blackmailing monies and denying the belongings of a few limited scope excavators nearby.
"The police group raced to the scene and prevailed with regards to capturing three of the suspects including driver. The other three suspects got away from capture by running into a close by hedge", the report said.

Cell phones, one unfamiliar gun, and a driver's permit along with the vehicle were seized.
Endeavors are in progress to get different suspects accepted to be military officials captured for addressing.
