The Spanish top league [La Liga] is one of the most watched leagues in the world, and it is dominated by two clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
These two clubs have made some memorable moments by dominating the rest of the La Liga groups, yet Atlético Madrid has recently begun to test the dominant clubs.
The history of LaLiga is full of significant moments and big results, but one in the modern era will live on in Spanish football history because of its context: Barcelona's 6-2 win over Real Madrid on May 2, 2009, at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
