Police recruits who were dispatched to various sections of the nation, particularly recreational centres, for the Easter holiday were expected to act professionally.
Their deployment was part of an initiative by the police administration to train them on the job and boost visibility.
COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Director-General of Police Administration, advised them not to take any gifts.
"Don't take any present from anyone," he said. "Nobody should claim he's drinking Coke and thus he's giving you beer to drink, he's giving you Coke to drink."
