In his 2022 Easter Address to the country, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made it plain that he intends to partake in this year's Kwahu Easter Festivities.
The president had been a regular supporter of the festival until it was suspended two years ago owing to the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The president, as promised, arrived at Kwahu for the Easter holiday, and all signs are that he is having a good time, much like the hundreds of other Ghanaians who ascended the Kwahu highlands to take part in the four-day event.
According to GhanaWeb, President Akufo-Addo attended a musical event at the Rock City Hotel, which included highlife legend Amakye Dede and award-winning musicians.
