Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman, the National Democratic Congress (NDCrunning )'s mate for Election 2020, has provided thousands of Ghana Cedis worth of supplies and other goods to Muslims in the Central Region in order to ensure the success of this year's Ramadan.
She described the gift as a sign of her and the party's commitment to the welfare of the Muslim population across the country, as well as the need of working in unity, peace, and harmony at all times for long-term growth.
Prof. Opoku-Agyeman urged Muslims to pray for the nation and, in particular, the NDC's 2020 presidential contender and former President, John Dramani Mahama, during their periods of prayer and fasting.
Sheik Alhaji Yusuf Mahammed Kamagateh accepts the gifts.
