Ghanaian pollster and editor-in-chief of the Dispatch newspaper, Ben Ephson has joined the conversation triggered by the recent Economic Intelligence Unit report about the 2024 elections.

In a second report about the 2024 elections by the Economic Intelligence Unit, the institution has predicted that the opposition National Democratic Congress will win the 2024 elections but with a different candidate other than John Mahama.

Speaking to Media General's Alfred Ocansey on the 3FM Sunrise morning show, the pollster noted that the NDC have seen troubling times in opposition and though it looks like the party might just snatch the 2024 elections.

Mr. Ephson noted that if the party fails to win the next elections, hell will break lose in the party because three are grievances among the grassroots.

"There is a likelihood of the party imploding if they lose their 3rd elections in a role. The 2024 elections is crucial for the NDC", he said.

Ahead of the 2024 elections, political parties and individuals interested in running for the high office of the land have began putting their house together in preparation of the election. The likelihood of John Mahama running on the ticket of the NDC is higher even though the likes of Kwabena Duffour and others have shown interest.
