NGO ADVOCATES CONJUGAL VISITS FOR PRISONERS

Leader of Mama Love Foundation, an Obuasi-based NGO, is upholding the arrangement of offices to advance intimate visits in Ghana's detainment facilities.

 

Fire up. Dr Love Konadu says NGOs like hers are ready to accomplice government in giving offices that will oblige life partners of prisoners for such occasional visits.

 

As per her, however she knows detainment facilities have no arrangements for intimate visits that grant mates of imprisoned prisoners to enjoy cozy minutes with their accomplices, the shortfall of such arrangements implies a few detainees resort to same-sex connections to fulfill their sexual requirements desires.

 

"However the nation has done whatever it takes to mitigate the predicament of detainees, we are prepared to accomplice government to set up offices in our country's jails to permit prisoners to fulfill their sexual drives. We accept this will end all types of homosexuality as revealed in our penitentiaries."

 

Fire up Dr Konadu approached government to set up appropriate facilities at the penitentiaries and work on the states of existing ones to deal with the wellbeing needs of the detainees.

 

She settled on the decision when she drove her association and London-based Obuasi Sikakrom Association to give food things, prepared food, sodas, filtered water, and wellbeing screening activity to the detainees of the Obuasi Prisons.

 

The second in order at Obuasi Prisons, Chief Supt Diabor Adam Mahama, who got the things in the interest of the detainees, recognized the NGO for the signal, adding that it has come brilliantly.

 

As indicated by him, however the issue of intimate offices is excellent, the Prisons don't have offices for such visits.

 

As per him, the Obuasi Prison is focused on satisfying its command of keeping detainees in safe guardianship, maintaining their government assistance, and changing and restoring them to be adequate to society.
