According to multiple sources, Angel di Maria, Mauro Icardi, and Leandro Paredes are all poised to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, leaving Lionel Messi as the last Argentinian standing.

With PSG, Messi has had one of his least successful seasons in a long time, scoring just three goals in 21 Ligue 1 games.

The Barcelona veteran is yet to find his feet at the Parc des Princes, and as a result, he was unable to help his team advance past Real Madrid in the Champions League last-16.

And, according to Spanish news site Since, things in Paris could get even worse for him this summer, as three of his Argentinian teammates are scheduled to leave at the end of the season.

Di Maria, who has just over two months left on his current PSG contract and will not be offered an extension, is the first of these compatriots.

The 34-year-old has only started five games in 2022, and Mauricio Pochettino hasn't used him in the league since a 1-0 loss to Nice on March 5.

As a result, when his contract expires at the end of June, he is expected to go, and French daily L'Equipe reports that both Icardi and Paredes may follow him out the door.

Icardi, who has a contract until 2024, has only scored five goals in 30 appearances this season, and PSG are willing to sell him for less than £20 million in the summer transfer window.

His off-field squabbles with wife Wanda Nara are alleged to have irritated club director Leonardo and fans, who booed him when he came on as a substitute in Sunday's 2-1 win over Marseille.

Messi's 'guard dog,' Paredes, has struggled for consistency since joining from Zenit Saint-Petersburg for £36 million in January 2019.

Officials at Parc des Princes are ready to cash in on the midfielder, who is entering the final year of his contract, as they look to rebuild their team in the summer.

After being eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid, they are hoping to spark a revolution at the end of the season in order to improve their prospects of progressing farther in the competition next season.

Messi will say his goodbyes to his closest pals at PSG and prepare for a season without them if all three leave the club as predicted.

The club is keen for Leo to finish the final year of his contract in 2022/23 before tying him down to a new contract or allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
