Arsenal team Alexandre Lacazette and Takehiro Tomiyasu both get an opportunity of being good for the upcoming conflict with Chelsea.

Lacazette has been experiencing Covid-19, while Tomiyasu has been out since January because of a calf issue. Arsenal was evaluating the pair on Tuesday and they could return for the excursion to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

"With Laca, we are surveying him today to check whether he is accessible with the group," said supervisor Mikel Arteta.

"Clearly, as all of you know, he had Covid, so he has been away for a couple of days. We simply attempt to get his inclination and where he is at, and in the event that he could contribute some way or another to the group.

"Tomi is extremely, close. Whether this game will be too soon for him or not, again we choose today after the instructional course."

Arteta is now without Kieran Tierney (knee) and Thomas Partey (thigh) for the remainder of the time, and he could go with a back three at Chelsea.

That would permit Rob Holding to come into the protection and Cedric Soares and Nuno Tavares to begin as wing-backs.

Arsenal anticipated XI (3-4-3): Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel; Cedric, Lokonga, Xhaka, Nuno; Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli.

Wednesday 7.45 pm BST, Sky Sports

Setting: Stamford Bridge

Arsenal crew from Leno, Ramsdale, Okonkwo; Cedric, Gabriel, Holding, Tavares, Tomiyasu, White; Elneny, Lokonga, Odegaard, Patino, Saka, Smith Rowe, Xhaka; Lacazette, Martinelli, Nketiah, and Pepe.

Questions: Lacazette (Covid-19), Tomiyasu (calf)

Injured: Partey (thigh), Tierney (knee)
