Liverpool has a one-point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League table after a rout at Anfield.Jurgen Klopp's side put up a commanding performance. Luis Diaz scored inside the first five minutes, before Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scored a brace to give Liverpool a 4-0 victory.

All three attackers were involved in the goals, and fans and commentators alike lauded the attacking trio, but Diaz in particular.

The Colombian joined Liverpool from Porto in January for a rumoured £40 million fee, and he has made an immediate impact. Many are surprised at how fast the 25-year-old has adjusted into Liverpool's famed front three, having scored three goals in his first eight Premier League outings. Diaz has brought something new to Klopp's starting XI on the left wing, with his trickery and pace. On Twitter, fans have began making serious analogies to other sports legends. Some went on to say that he will be better than Messi.

Following Liverpool's thrashing of Manchester United, Jurgen Klopp praises the club's 'top class' performance.

The Reds' 4-0 victory follows a 5-0 victory at Old Trafford in October. This is the biggest aggregate victory in the history of one of English football's most storied rivalries for either team. Liverpool are still on track to achieve a record-breaking quadruple (winning Carabao Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, and Premier League). Jurgen Klopp praised his team following their 11th Premier League victory in 12 games.

According to the Daily Mail, the German said in a post-match interview:

"It was an outstanding performance. I'm not here to embarrass my opponents. We completed the task at hand. They played without their central midfielders, and when you're in a tough situation like United was before the game, Paul (Pogba) has to come off, and playing against us isn't easy." Klopp went on to say:

"I'm not interested in a 9-0 score. If supporters want to celebrate, this is something they can do. I know it won't last forever; they'll retaliate. There's nothing to complain about. These aren't something we take for granted. I believe United could have had a far better game if our counter-pressing had not been as good as it was tonight."
