Chelsea is one of five clubs interested in signing Ajax forward Antony in the summer, according to Fichajes.net. Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Real Madrid are among the clubs chasing the Brazilian.

Antony, 22, joined Ajax from Sao Paulo in Brazil in 2020. He has appeared in 79 games for them, scoring 22 goals and assisting on 20 occasions. Antony has had a fantastic season, scoring 12 goals and assisting ten times in 33 games across all competitions.

Given his recent form, he has piqued the interest of some of Europe's most prestigious clubs, including Chelsea.

The Blues have a lot of attacking alternatives, but many of them haven't impressed this season. According to Football.London, if Antony is signed, he may be a substitute for Hakim Ziyech. In February 2020, the Moroccan joined the west London giants from Ajax. Since then, he has made 75 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and assisting nine times.

The Blues may be interested, but due to ownership concerns, they are still dubious about their deals. The club has been prevented from making any new recruits after their owner, Roman Abramovich, was sanctioned by the UK government as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Chelsea will be unable to make any trades until a new owner is found.

Manchester United could put pressure on Chelsea to sign Antony.

Manchester United have reached a deal with Ajax manager Erik ten Hag to take over at Old Trafford, according to The Athletic. In terms of incomings and outgoings, the club is set to undergo significant changes this summer.

Ten Hag wants to bring Antony to Old Trafford once he takes over the reins, according to Tutto Juve. United is said to be the favourite to sign the Brazilian, according to the article. If Ziyech quits the club, this might derail Chelsea's intentions. The Blues, on the other hand, may be able to provide the forward UEFA Champions League football next season. United may not be able to provide this service.

Ralf Rangnick's side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League, three points behind Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, the Blues sit in third place, five points ahead of Spurs with two games remaining.

It's unclear where Antony will spend the summer.
