Spanish manager of London based Premier league club, Mikel Arteta has admitted that he has unfairly treated Arsenal forward, Eddie Nketia.

22-year-old Ghana target, Eddie Nketia's impressive performance against their city rivals resulted in a victory for the Gunners. Eddie Nketia's brace moved Arsenal to a UEFA Champions league zone.

Speaking to the media after the game, Mikel Arteta admitted that he hasn't treated the British born youngster fairly.

"What Eddie Nketia has done tonight is because of what he has done for the last 10 months and no one has noticed. I said to him I haven't been fair. I should have been playing him more. We have other issues as well and that has not been easy. But he deserves what happened to him tonight".

Eddie Nketia has been with Arsenal since 2017 after moving from Chelsea's junior team. He has featured in 53 games with 7 goals.

In a recent interview, Eddie Nketia admitted that he is open to playing for either countries he owes citizenship. Born to Ghanaian parents, the 22-year-old is eligible to play for Ghana and England but states he is now focusing on his club side.
