Football is the only sport in which fans from all walks of life and cultures can come together and cheer for their favorite team in harmony.
There are three basic categories in which the game can be classified: win, draw, or loss.
Some players, on the other hand, have no business using any of these three since they can't seem to keep their rage under check, even when their team is winning.
We'll take a look at a few athletes that have trouble controlling their emotions.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the number six player in the world.
Ibrahimovic has a reputation for being a thorn in opponents' sides.
He had a fight with a teammate during training early in his career, and the teammate's father wanted him kicked off the team.
Following that, he became embroiled in a series of increasingly violent confrontations with both teammates and opponents.
He assaulted his coach Pep Guardiola during his stint at Barcelona, for example.
He got into a spat with Milan teammate Oguchi Onyewu on the training ground, kicked Bari defender Marco Rossi in the stomach during a game, and choked NYCFC goalie Sean Johnson with his fist.
5. Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker and was born on August 12, 1990.
He's also one of the most aggressive players on the pitch, rarely smiling even after he scores.
As proven by his outburst with Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini at the time, Balotelli's wrath has no bounds.
The coach asked Balotelli to leave the training pitch after a dispute with Sinclair, but the Italian striker refused.
Luis Suarez is the fourth player on the list.
Suarez's roles are well-known, and he has been suspended on multiple occasions.
On November 20, 2010, he bit PSV's Otman Bakkal while playing for Ajax, which was his first biting incident.
Ajax fined him an undisclosed sum of money and suspended him for two matches.
A Dutch magazine dubbed him the "Cannibal of Ajax."
At the time of the second incident, he was a Liverpool player.
Suarez bit Branislav Ivanovic on April 21, 2013, after a 2–2 draw with Chelsea.
He was given a ten-game suspension.
Suarez bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini while waiting for a cross during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Suárez was banned for nine international matches by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee two days later.
Marco Materazzi, No. 3
After getting headbutted by Zinedine Zidane during the 2006 World Cup, Marco Materazzi developed a reputation for unleashing his own fury.
Over 60 yellow cards and 25 red cards were issued to the Italian veteran during his career.
In the past, his aggressive style of play has gotten him into a lot of trouble.
Materazzi is no slouch, weighing in at over 200 pounds and standing at 6′ 4′′ tall.
Diego Costa, No. 2
Costa is a professional footballer who now plays for Atlético Mineiro, despite being reprimanded and fined numerous times for his obstinacy on the field.
Costa and Arsenal defender Gabriel got into an altercation during a match between Arsenal and Chelsea, which resulted in the latter being sent off.
Diego Costa has a reputation for squaring up with everyone, including referees.
Pepe is number one
During his stint at Real Madrid, Pepe made headlines for treading on Lionel Messi's hand during a match against Barcelona.
That time, he got away with it, but not when he booted and stamped on Javi Casquero of Getafe during a La Liga match in 2009.
For his actions, the defender was given a four-match suspension.
