His Lordship Justice Alhaji Abdul Yusif Asibey, the Supervising High Court Judge of the Wa High Court, has voiced worry over the numerous land dispute matters standing before the court.
As a result, he has urged the regional Houses of Chiefs to step up their game in order to put an end to the problem, which has cost the parties a lot of money.
He said that nearly 90% of the cases standing before the High Court concerned land ownership, and he raised worry about the amount of money spent on these lawsuits.
At the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs' second general meeting in Wa, Justice Alhaji Asibey expressed his worry.
He stated that the parties were ready and willing to pay the sum for the preparation.
