If any local printer expresses concerns about a publisher attempting to evade what was agreed upon in the production of government textbooks locally, the Ministry of Education will take necessary action.
The creation of a government task force to monitor textbook production, as demanded by the Ghana Printers and Paper Converters Association, has been ruled out (GPPCA).
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the sector minister, told the Daily Graphic in Accra yesterday: "I don't see the government establishing up such a task group."
He was responding to a front-page item in the Daily Graphic on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in which the GPPCA called for the establishment of a task group.
