'I'm prepared for Black Stars' - Otto Addo repeats want to continue to mentor work
Otto Addo wants to keep up with his job as the lead trainer of the Black Stars in front of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The previous Black Stars player was selected as the interval chief for the public group for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier season finisher against Nigeria last month.
Following his job along with Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Masud Didi Dramani in qualifying the Black Stars for the Mundial, there have been requires the Ghana Football Association to keep up with the Borussia Dortmund staff, with Addo communicating his longing to go on as the gaffer.
"We really want to figure a few things out with the GFA and with Dortmund to explain in the event that I can keep [coaching Black Stars] for the AFCON 2023 capabilities. Concerning me, I'm prepared [for Black Stars] yet I have an agreement with Dortmund and I need to clear a few things before I can go further," he said, as cited by 3news.
"I'm meeting with my supervisors [Dortmund] on Thursday to talk about the Black Stars work and the chance of going on with them. Sure [I will in all actuality do Black Stars job] however I need to examine the agreement."
"I have a decent relationship [with Dortmund] so I really want to believe that they will permit me to keep on training the Black Stars. Ideally [I will actually want to work with Dortmund and Black Stars at the equivalent time]," Addo added.
The 46-year-old functions as a mentor scout for the German club.
In the interim, the GFA's overall secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo has affirmed to JoySports that Otto Addo will be reported whenever ends are reached.
