Mata has also seen Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer leave Old Trafford in the last eight years.
However, with his current contract scheduled to expire at the end of this season, the World Cup winner is likely to be one of many United stars to go. While many are expecting a mass exodus of players this summer, Fernandes has signed a contract extension that will extend his tenure at the club for another year.
He will remain at Old Trafford until the summer of 2026, according to the new contract. Fernandes has scored 49 goals and provided 39 assists in 121 games for the Red Devils since joining for £47 million from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window of 2020.
