During my quiet time this morning, I was thanking God for His power and grace that have done a tremendous work inside of me Philippians 1:6.
I was a woman who was wounded and broken. As a teenager, a friend connive with her sibling to commit an evil against me. I lost all my self worth and became afraid.
After that experience, I fell in love with a guy who had a girlfriend (unbeknownst to me). The girlfriend was my classmate who live in the same area where my crush lives.
I gave the girl a love letter to give to the guy. Which means I have given my “rival” my death sentence.
She opened the letter on her way home and showed all her girlfriends the content of my love letter.
I was in class the next day and they all came against me and made mockery of me, they embarrassed me for several weeks and it affected my education.
I became the topic of discussion in the school, that I was trying to snatch someone’s boyfriend. The boy who had professed his love for me for several weeks told his girlfriend that he doesn’t know me but I was trying to seduce him.
It was hard for me to trust people and I became so negative and fearful. I was always thinking evil of people.
I met Jesus and His Spirit began to peel of all the broken layers in my soul. It took time, grace and a strong desire to be free to live life.
It was a process and I’m still on that journey but I can confidently tell you that it was worth the fight.
I treat people kindly and have become more positive knowing God got my back so I’m not afraid of what you will do, you reap what you sow.
Jesus is the only one who can heal your wounded soul through the Holy Spirit.
Do you want to get healed? Invite Jesus into your deepest secrets, He knows how to turn a messy mind and emotions into a sound mind and a healthy emotion.
It will not be magical, but if you are ready to give Him time and do what He tells you to do, you will eventually crush the head of the serpent.
