The only way to find out the results of the lottery is to go to the Electronic Diversity Visa website. Applicants who are chosen will not be notified by mail or phone. You won't be able to find out whether or not your entry was chosen if you lose your confirmation number.
If your application is accepted, you will be sent to a page with more information about the steps you must take to enter the United States.
If you check the lottery results and discover that you are a winner, you can start the application procedure for a Green Card. Use the DS Form 260 to submit your visa application.
Please submit any supporting documents.
Make a schedule for the visa interview and prepare for it.
Participate in the interview.
An official will inform you whether your visa application has been approved or denied after the final phase of the process, the visa interview. If your application is approved, you will be provided information on how to obtain your visa. The authorities will explain their judgment if your application is denied.
