Arsenal vs. Manchester United - Kick-Off time, Preview, available players, prediction, missing players, team news, lineups, Key players will miss the clash
Arsenal and Manchester United renew hostilities in the Premier League at the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime, in a match that could make or break both sides' chances of finishing in the top four.
The Gunners reignited their Champions League campaign with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Chelsea in midweek, while Ralf Rangnick's side succumbed to Liverpool in a 4-0 defeat.
Team Updates
Takehiro Tomiyasu was back on the training grounds earlier this week, much to the delight of Arsenal fans, but the right-back was still not involved in the win over Chelsea and may only be considered for a bench spot here.
Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney are out indefinitely, but Arteta has no new issues to deal with after Wednesday's win and has some big calls in all areas of the pitch, with Nketiah doing more than enough to reclaim his starting spot at the top.
Mohamed Elneny impressed in midfield on Wednesday and could re-join Granit Xhaka here, while Rob Holding, despite a couple of shaky passes in midweek, is hopeful of keeping his place in the backline.
In terms of the visitors, Cristiano Ronaldo was understandably absent in midweek following the tragic death of his newborn son, but the 37-year-old is now said to be back in training and could play at the Emirates.
Scott McTominay's return from a foot injury comes after Paul Pogba was taken off after only 10 minutes against Liverpool with a calf injury, joining Luke Shaw, Fred, and Edinson Cavani in the medical bay.
One positive for Rangnick is that he may be able to welcome Raphael Varane back to the squad this weekend, and even Eric Bailly may be considered for a start after such an abysmal defensive showing on Merseyside.
