Paul Merson gives his predictions for Arsenal vs. Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, and others

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has predicted the outcome of this weekend's Premier League match-day 34 fixtures.

On Saturday afternoon, Arsenal will play Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, while Leicester City will play Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium.

Manchester City will face Watford at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, while Chelsea will face West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Sportskeeda quoted Merson as saying when asked for his predictions:

Paul Merson has made his predictions for the next round of Premier League action, which includes Arsenal's crucial match against Manchester United.

Arsenal improved their chances of finishing in the top four by defeating Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge in midweek.

In the meantime, United go into Saturday’s game at the Emirates Stadium following a dismal 4-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Erik ten Hag was named manager of Manchester United on Thursday, with the 52-year-old set to take over at Old Trafford at the end of the season.

For the time being, their focus will be on the match against Arsenal, which Gunners legend Merson predicts will end in a 2-2 draw.

This is a more difficult game than most people believe. Most fans believe Arsenal will show up and win, but this is a difficult game. Merson explained to Sportskeeda.

Arsenal are a young team with a lot of inconsistency. They've lost three games in a row, but they easily defeated Chelsea. ' Manchester United are going to show up – I just have a feeling. Nobody expects them to accomplish anything this season, so they'll just go out and have fun. Arsenal may find it difficult as a result of this.

" It will be difficult for Cristiano Ronaldo to play in this game, but if he does, I expect the others to support him. ' Erik ten Hag was named manager of Manchester United this week, and we wish him the best of luck. I don't think his appointment will have much of an impact on this game, but Arsenal will have a difficult weekend. '

Merson said of Liverpool's Merseyside derby against Everton: Liverpool do take their foot off the gas sometimes. ' They had United on the ropes the other day and they easily could have scored six or seven goals. They can't take their gaze away from the prize – one draw and that will be it for them, "'

This weekend, Jurgen Klopp will not rest any of his players. This is a big football derby—the city's pride. I'd be surprised if Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah did not appear. You play them, get ahead, and then take them off, not the other way around.

Arsenal 2-2 Manchester United

Aston Villa 1-2 Leicester City

Manchester City defeated Watford 5-0.

Norwich City (2-2) Newcastle United

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Brentford

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 Burnley

Chelsea defeats West Ham United 2-0.

Brighton & Hove Albion. 2-0 Southampton

Everton 0-3 Liverpool

Crystal Palace Leeds United won 2-0.
