A storm which many have described as a "Haboob" has wrecked havoc in Kusaug.
Shortly after the storm, callers into Zebs FM's weekly women's digest hosted by Ace broadcaster Mary Awinmasim Abanga described in detail, the destruction of lives and property across the traditional area spanning from Tilli to Tempane.
It was then established that two lives have been lost (A man at Bugri - Bulpeilisi in the Tempane District and a four-year-old boy at Asapalgu near Kukore in the Bawku West District) while several houses had their roofs ripped off.
The situation has also plunged the area into darkness. However, VRA officials were out on the field trying to restore power to affected areas at the time of filing this report.
A thorough assessment of the damage will be carried out on Friday 8th April 2022.
