It is a "good" job to be a teacher. Teachers play a crucial role. They make up the majority of Ghana's government employees and are the most powerful.
Unfortunately, the majority of students do not intend to pursue a career as a teacher. Why? Let's look at some of the most typical causes for students to drop out:
1. Teachers set a bad example
Some of the professors are well-mannered. Yes, exactly. However, there are a significant number of them whose poor behavior makes the profession unappealing to students. Many teachers have common behavior problems, such as intoxication, sexual indiscipline, and so on. As a result, students dislike teaching as a career.
2. Unacceptably low pay
Teachers in Ghana are among the lowest paid government employees. The situation for private school instructors is significantly worse.
Income is a crucial factor in a child's decision to pursue a particular career path. Because students are aware of the low salary offered by instructors, many are hesitant to pursue a career as a teacher.
3. Exhausting Work
Students pity their professors for the stress they must through in order to instill knowledge in their heads. The majority of students and parents acknowledge that teaching may be extremely stressful.
Apart from the classroom, many parents praise instructors for their abilities to deal with today's difficult pupils. The kids themselves are aware of these issues, and they are not prepared to face similar stress in the future.
