COURT SENTENCES 2 ROBBERS TO 10 YEARS EACH

On Friday, April 22, 2020, the Goaso Circuit Court sentenced two robbers to a total of 20 years in jail.

 

 

 

After assaulting and robbing students at the Goaso Nursing and Midwifery Training College, they were arrested.

 

 

 

On April 17, Isaac Kwame Bonsu, 19, and Mensah Christian, 18, attacked nursing students returning to their dormitory after night classes in Goaso.

 

 

 

They pled guilty to conspiracy to commit a crime, namely robbery, and were found guilty on their own plea by His Lordship Akwesi Acheampong's court.

 

 

 

The event occurred on April 17, 2022, according to Chief Inspector Daniel Tawiah of the Goaso Circuit Court.

 

 

 

He said that the inmates ambushed the youngsters near the Goaso Methodist school compound, equipped with scissors.
