President Akufo-Addo has nominated Dr Richard Asante Yeboah, the NPP's Deputy Communications Director, as the Executive Secretary of the Public Servants Housing Loan Scheme.
Dr. Yeboah's appointment was announced in a letter signed by Nana Asante Bediatuo, Secretary to the President, on April 21, 2022.
The appointment was made under Section 11 (1) of the Public Servants (Housing Loans) Scehem Act, 1975, according to the letter (N.R.C.D. 319).
Following receipt of the letter, Dr. Yeboah is required to announce his acceptance of his position within 14 days.
The plan was created to help Civil and Public Servants in purchasing their own home through the provision of mortgage loans.
The Ministry of Works is in charge of overseeing it.
