DR OKO BOYE GETS TOP APPOINTMENT

Former Ledzokuku Member of Parliament Bernard Okoe Boye has been appointed as the acting Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority by President Nana Akufo-Addo (NHIA).

 

 

 

The appointment will begin on Monday, May 3rd.

 

 

 

The appointment is made pursuant to Section 14 (1) of the National Health Insurance Act, 2012, according to the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare (Act 852).

His nomination is "pending receipt of the constitutionally mandated advice of the Authority's governing board issued in cooperation with the Public Services Commission," according to her.

 

 

Akufo-Addo names Okoe Boye as the acting head of the NHIA.
