The Assin North Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) organised a thanksgiving service following the Supreme Court judgement barring the area's Member of Parliament, James Gyakye Quayson, from performing Parliamentary responsibilities.

The party, led by Assin North District Chief Executive Charles Ohene Andoh, went to churches in Assin Bereku, the Assin North Constituency's District Capital, including Pentecost, Methodist, Church of Christ, Presbyterian Church, and others, to thank God for the Supreme Court ruling against the Assin North MP.

The NPP's General Secretary, John Boadu, led a team from the party's headquarters, which included the Municipal Chief Executive for the Assin Foso Municipality, Nicholas Fiifi Bakoe, the Constituency Chairman, and all of the Constituency Executives.
