As part of the West Africa Automotive Village or Hub initiative, the Abossey Okai spare parts centre will be relocated to Afienya in the Greater Accra Region.
The move, according to Regional Minister Henry Quartey, is part of a new phase in which the region would be modernised as an appealing African tourism destination.
The Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council is already in talks with the Lands and Natural Resources Ministry about releasing 2,500 to 4,000 acres for the project.
Mr Quartey made the announcement at the Greater Accra Regional Investment Opportunities Conference, which was the first of its kind.
