Paper and non-automated transaction methods are common in microfinance organisations, particularly traditional'susu' collectors.

Susu collectors can now easily capture mobile transactions thanks to a new financial technology called Mobart, which saves them time.

The system is supposed to allow collectors to transact for free and without the need of the internet.

The programme, which is based on the Opanet AI technology, allows innovators to create technical solutions adapted to the demands of microfinance organisations.

Paul Opoku, the project's creator, claimed that the smartphone application is simple to use and has a user-friendly interface.

"Mobart is a software-based and hardware-based end-user terminal. Mobile bankers can use the technology to print receipts and deliver SMS notifications to consumers.
