In football it is difficult for players to play their entire career at one club, but some were able to make it. Let take a look at these legends who were able to accomplish this feat
1.Ryan Joseph Giggs
Initially, Giggs began his career with Manchester City in1985, but move to city rival Manchester United in 1987 all at youth level, and four years later made his professional debut for Manchester united. He made more than 900 appearances in matches for Manchester United, over 24 seasons, and winning 34 trophies. Ryan Giggs made some records in the premier League, as the only player to play in 22 seasons in Succession, and again the only player to score in 21 Seasons Continuously.
2. Paolo Cesare Maldini
He rose through the AC Milan youth System, he plays a left back and Center back position. He made his senior debut for AC Milan in the 1984/85 Season, as he went on to spend 25 Seasons with them playing 902 matches and won 25 trophies with many individual awards. He came second in the Ballon d’or in 1995. He retires at age 41 and his iconic number 3 jersey was also retired by the Club for dedicated service.
3. Francesco Totti
The iconic figure and former Captain of the Capital based Club spent his entire 25 seasons with Roma Making 786 match appearance and scored 307 goals. He made his first debut for Roma at age 16. He won two Coppa Italia, One Serie A and two Italian Super cup trophies, he also holds the record of the youngest Club Captain in the Serie A history.
4. Jamie Carragher
Carragher’s journey started at the Liverpool Academy, he made his senior debut in 1996/97 Season and become a regular starter a year later. The former Liverpool Vice – Captain made 737 appearances over 16 Season and won 11 trophies with the Reds.
5.Tony Adams
The former Arsenal captain was signed as a young school Boy in 1980. He made his debut three years later, and stayed with the club for 19 Season, he appeared in 672 matches and won 13 major trophies. He is considered as one of Arsenal players of all time.
6. Carles Puyol Saforcada
Many Football fans knows Puyol as a Central Defender, but he began his early Career as a goalkeeper, and later switch position to a defensive midfielder when he joined Barcelona famed La Masia. Two years later he started playing for the youth side at right back. He made his La Liga debut in 1999,and went on to make 593 appearances with 21 trophies in over 15 Seasons in Barcelona. He Captained the Barcelona team for ten years (2004- 2014).
