In that season, Eric Bekoe scored 17 goals in the Ghana premier League with Kumasi Asante kotoko.
But in the 2021/2022 season Frank Etouga Mbella has equalled this record by scoring 17 premier League goals this season after playing and scoring in match day 25.
After equalling this record, he is yet to break the Eric Addo 22 goals in the Ghana premier League which is the fourth highest in the history of the Ghana premier League.
With 9 games to end the season, maybe Frank Etouga Mbella can also equal this record or even set a new one in the Ghana premier League history.
