The Black Stars of Ghana will be competing at the 2022 world cup in Qatar. The Stars did so well in their two matches against Nigeria during the playoffs which earned them a place at the world stage. All the teams who are playing at the world cup are supposed to name their squad 20 or 30 days before the opening game. Ghana will be hoping to name the list of players who will play for early preparations. The list that Otto Addo named for the playoffs included:

There are expectations that there will be a number of changes in this squad. Captain Andre Dede Ayew, Kamaaldeen Sulemana, Jeffery Schlupp , Salisu Mohammed among other players are expected to make the final list. Ghana is looking forward to some players making a switch to play for the national team. Some of these players include Hudson Odoi, Nico Williams and his brother Inaki Williams, Eddie Nketiah and Tariq Lamptey. If these players are able to make it, the team will be solid.
If FIFA does not increase the number of players that can be named at the world cup, then some names will be dropped from the ones that were given out during the playoffs and it will be a sad one for those who will be affected. May the best be presented for Qatar 2022.
