On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo, one of President Akufo-daughters, Addo's married in a white wedding in the Presidency.
Edwina married Kwabena Jumah, the son of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited's Managing Director, Maxwell Kofi Jumah called Kofi Ghana.
Aliko Dangote, Nigeria's richest man and Africa's richest man, was among the guests at the wedding, according to images posted on Instagram site @sweet maame adwoa.
Pictures and videos went viral last October after the two lovebirds hosted a private family introduction at the Presidential Villa, which was attended by their respective families and prominent officials from the ruling New Patriotic Party, or NPP.
In one of the tapes that surfaced, the president asked his daughter if she was ready to accept Kwabena Jumah as her husband-to-be, to which she said yes.
First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and second lady Samira Bawumia were also in present at the magnificent ceremony.
The event was also attended by NPP leaders and other dignitaries.
