Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, the majority leader, has sent a strong message to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in response to the recent EIU report.

In a recent analysis on our impending 2024 general elections, the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is likely to win if they field a fresh candidate other than John Mahama.

Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah boldly told the NPP not to joke with the EIU report because it is a wake-up call for them going into 2024 in an interview with Hello FM in Kumasi in response to the EIU's report. He stated that the party must unite and treat everyone equally so that they can collectively win power in 2024.

The recent EIU's report serves as a wake-up call for the New Patriotic Party; we cannot dismiss it or brush it aside. We must agree that the country is currently experiencing economic difficulties, which are making some Ghanaians uneasy. We must battle and alter such things before 2024, or we would be laughing out of the wrong side of our mouths, the Majority Leader bluntly stated on Kumasi's Hello FM.
