"1. Ladies and gentlemen, yesterday, the constituency Nasara Coordinator, Mr Iddrisu Walaika Kinshasha was butchered and he is now at the Wa Regional Hospital battling for his life. The group that committed this heinous crime is obviously sponsored by one Limann Majeed who the Regional Chairman and the Regional Minister have been machinating and intimidating party faithfuls to give path way for him [Majeed] to become the Constituency Chairman.
2. In a couple of weeks ago, we are convinced this same minister with the help of his aid [Yaboah] hired thugs from Wa who were used by Majeed and Bakor a former DCE in Fatchu eventhough police was informed the previous day that armed men were in the Hon. Bakor’s pick up but police has since not effected any arrest.
3. Friends from the media, ladies and gentlemen, they used these thugs to hold the chief and elders of Fatchu, the I.T officer, the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate, Constituency Chairman, Orgainser and Research and elections officer hostage for close to two hours in the chief's palace. This resulted in the destruction of the Constituency Chairman’s vehicle and over ten [10] motor bikes were vandalised. These thugs assaulted this Nasara Coordinator and several other people got wounded with fractures of the arm.
4. Not satisfied with this, the upper west regional minister used Russian-type armed security men to install Majeed preferred polling stations executives in Dasima, Kusali and Kunkorgu. The rightful executives and choice of party members were also assaulted and the police were helpless due to regional minister’s active interference in conduct of the polling station elections. Today the NPP boys in kusali live in fear.
5. On the 12th of April, 2022, two young patriots from Kuntulo were returning from Gwollu and were attacked by political thugs to the extent of sustaining multiple cuts and their motor destroyed."
