The white wedding of President Akufo-daughter, Addo's Edwina, was held, with Dangote, Bawumia, and others in attendance.
On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo, one of President Akufo-daughters, Addo's married in a white wedding in the Presidency.Edwina married the love of her life, Kwabena Jumah, son of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited's Managing Director, Maxwell Kofi Jumah aka Kofi Ghana. It will be recalled that photographs and videos went viral last year in October when the two lovebirds hosted a special family introduction at the Presidential Villa, which was attended by their respective families and top NPP officials.
In one of the tapes that surfaced, the president asked his daughter if she was ready to accept Kwabena Jumah as her husband-to-be, to which she said yes.First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and second lady Samira Bawumia were also in present at the magnificent ceremony.
The event was also attended by NPP leaders and other dignitaries.
The earlier reported marriage ceremony, according to news portal dailyguidenetwork.com, was actually a private introduction ceremony.
