Former President John Dramani Mahama has challenged Charles Agyinasare, the founder of Perez Chapel International, to tell the truth no matter who gets galled.
This was said in a statement made by the former President on Sunday, April 24, at the church grounds during an occasion commemorating Charles Agyinasare's ascension to the rank of Archbishop.
Agyinasare, he claims, deserved the elevation since he has spent the most of his life shepherding God's sheep.
"After 31 years of faithful service to the flock, you certainly deserve this promotion. That's more than a quarter of your life... You've been [Arch]bishop for 31 years, but you've been a minister for virtually your entire life. He informed the assembly, "I believe 40 years of serving to God's sheep is worthy of the rank of Archbishop."
Mahama also expressed gratitude to the now Archbishop for his unwavering support and advice throughout the course of their friendship.
He defined a man of God as someone whose voice has become the country's moral conscience. As a result, Mahama charged Agyinasare to continue speaking the truth, regardless of who gets upset by it.
"We would want to convey our heartfelt thanks to you, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your congregation for your prayers and support throughout the years. You remain one of our society's moral voices that will not be suppressed or intimidated. May God continue to bless you with divine auction so that you may continue to proclaim the truth to the whole country, regardless of whose ox is galled," he said.
At a ceremony in Accra on Saturday, April 2, 2022, the Episcopalian Council of Perez Chapel International and the leadership of the Global Charismatic Ministers Network promoted Charles Agyinasare from Bishop to Archbishop.
