Many Ghanaians are concerned about the rate at which Ghanaians are praising foreign traditions at the expense of our own history, legacy, and culture, as they fear our culture would perish sooner rather than later if nothing is done.
People have voiced their views on how our rich culture might be instilled in the next generation in order to ensure that our forebears' hard work does not go to waste.
Those in the education industry are demanding for history and cultural studies to be reintroduced as fundamental courses in our educational system, while others have differing views on how our culture will be instilled in future generations instead of learning western culture.
For this reason, young Ghanaian males have launched the SWITCH UP XPERIENCE.COM app, which will feature our culture, history, and legacy, as well as restaurants, hospitals, and tourism attractions, for people at home and abroad to use whenever they need them.
When the board of this massive venture was launched in Accra, Benjamin Oduro Bosompem, the young enterprising Chief Executive Officer of SWITCH UP EXPERIENCE.COM, talked to Peace News.
Mr. Franklyn Leonards, the Board Chairman of SWITCH UP EXPERIENCE.COM and the CEO of the Jewels Foundation, stated that it is past time for us to value our heritage and culture, and praised the young CEO, Benjamin Oduro Bosompem, and his colleagues for such a fantastic concept.
