Rains, thunder, and windy weather are expected to hit several regions of Ghana in the afternoon of Sunday, April 24th, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA).
GMA announced the rains in a tweet, saying they will hit Accra, Ashanti, Central, and other parts of Ghana's south.
In a tweet, GMA added, "Rain, thunder, and windy weather are forecast later this morning over the Volta before drifting to the Eastern, Gt. Accra, Ashanti, Central, and Western areas in the afternoon."
Meanwhile, in order to minimise flooding during the rainy season, the National Disaster Management Organization has warned the public against indiscriminate rubbish dumping.
