The awards were handed to three ministers who were jointly named best ministers in the FAKS Investigative Services' 'Performance of Ministers' poll, 2021.
Hon. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, Minister of Transport, Hon. Godfred Yeboah Dame, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, and Dr. Yaw Adutwum, Minister of Education, are the three ministers.
On many occasions, the Chief Executive Officer of FAKS Investigative Services, Fred Yaw Sarpong, presented the three with a wonderfully made plaque with their names plainly inscribed on it at their respective offices in Accra.
Hon. Asiamah, the Transport Minister, received his honour on April 18, 2022.
He was named overall best Minister for the second time in the FAKS Investigative Services Performance of Ministers survey, the first being in 2020.
After 3,661 out of 3,953 respondents voted 'yes' for their great performance during the year under review, the three ministers tied for first place with 92 percent.
Hon. Asiamah, for example, was praised for his Ministry's assistance during the commercial drivers' strike, as well as the substantial changes he has brought to the transportation industry.
Hon. Godfred Yeboah Dame was also lauded for his participation in the admission of 499 law students to the Ghana School of Law, Ghana's victory in the Norway Chancery case, and his contribution to the transformation of the Registrar General's office.
