Previous General Secretary of the Christian Gathering of Ghana, Fire up. Dr. Kwabena Opuni Frimpong has regretted the way that so many ideological group masters are presently setting up media houses.
As per him, this has brought about 'sectarian media' which is quieting the ministry and other basic voices on public issues.
Talking at a public talk as a feature of exercises stamping 100 commemorations of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana-Akuapem Presbytery Rising Assembly in Koforidua, Fire up. Opuni said a few media houses never again care about objectivity.
"The test of outrageous partisanship has a ton to do with the Ghanaian media right now and the proprietors of the media houses. Since we have individuals who have explicit political interests setting up media houses utilizing those media houses to seek after their political advantages. So in some cases, you don't know of their publication strategy since individuals plunk down and say every possible kind of thing and no one stops them," Fire up. Dr. Kwabena Opuni Frimpong demonstrated.
He said individuals who attempt to talk the fact of the matter are currently sidelined and offended when their remarks don't go with the interest of these media houses and their proprietors.
"Presently partisanship and absence of true publication strategy in the Ghanaian media are the things is energizing the over partisanship challenges, a lot of nearly anything. A few of us are experiencing these media houses since when you talk reality they won't pay attention to you, they will even affront you. They generally anticipate that individuals should support their ideological groups that are step by step hushing the voices of shrewdness in Ghana," the previous General Secretary of the Christian Committee of Ghana focused.
As per Fire up. Opuni, it is about time the Public Media Commission mediate to resolve the issue with the responsibility for houses and guarantee that partisanship of the media is wiped out to clear the way for objectivity to follow all the way through.
He demands that it is just when this is done that the nation will advance and create.
