HARRY KANE ISSUES A WARNING TO HIS TOTTENHAM COLLEAGUES....

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has issued a warning to his teammates after his club dropped more points in their fight for the top four after a 0-0 draw at Brentford on Saturday.

The result came after a 1-0 loss at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, and after Arsenal's 4-2 triumph over Chelsea in their game in hand last week, the Gunners surged back into the top four with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United over the weekend.

Spurs are currently two points behind Liverpool in fifth place, with the rescheduled north London derby yet to come, and Kane has cautioned his squad that they cannot afford any more mistakes for the remainder of the season.

"To just gain one point from the two games [Brighton and Brentford] is disheartening," he told the Evening Standard. In terms of lowering points, we're out of games. There are five games remaining, and we believe we will need to win all of them to secure that berth. We are more than capable of doing so; we believe in it, and we will make every effort to do so."

With Man United losing their previous two games against Liverpool and Arsenal, the Red Devils appear to be all but out of the top four battle, while Chelsea should still finish third, leaving the two north London teams to duel for the final Champions League position.

Spurs must still play Liverpool before facing Arsenal in a winner-takes-all match in just over two weeks. Their chances of finishing in the top four might be severely harmed by the time they play their last two games of the season, but Kane feels his team is capable of doing so.

"Is it still in our hands?" he inquired. Yeah. We'll be in the Champions League if we win the remaining five games, so that's how we've got to think about it. We know that five games will be challenging, and we also have a trip to Liverpool, which will be really difficult.

"As we've seen this season, we've dropped points against opponents we were probably supposed to beat, and others around us have done the same. It is unquestionably not finished. I believe we've done an excellent job of putting ourselves in this position, but now it's a question of who can finish the job.
