Euro 2022 coordinators have guarded their choice to utilize Manchester City's Academy Stadium as a scene for the competition, after Iceland's Sara Bjork Gunnarsdottir called the arena a 'preparing ground'.
The Academy Stadium is the littlest scene being used for Euro 2022, with a limit of 4,700. Iceland play their initial two gathering apparatuses at the arena, and both have proactively sold out.
The size of the ground was marked as 'humiliating' by Gunnarsdottir following the guard attendances that new Women's Champions League apparatuses have drawn in.
"Manchester City Academy isn't a preparation ground," an Euro 2022 representative told BBC Sport. "It is the authority home arena of Manchester City Women's Football Club.
"It has been utilized already for UEFA Women's Champions League apparatuses and will produce an extraordinary climate deserving of a Women's Euro."We accept that with two of the greatest football arenas in England [Old Trafford and Wembley], four scenes with a limit of at least 30,000, two settings more than 10,000 and two arenas under 10,000, the right blend of arenas has been decided to give the competition a stage to live up to its true capacity."

Sara Bjork Gunnarsdottir claims 4,700-limit Euro 2022 arena is 'humiliating'
Iceland start off their Euro 2022 mission at the Academy Stadium against Belgium, prior to getting back to Manchester City Women's arena to italy confront.
The Academy Stadium is the littlest scene being used at Euro 2022 by some distance. The New York Stadium and Leigh Sports Village have the second littlest limits, both holding 12,000 observers.
The New York Stadium and Leigh Sports Village will both host quarter last apparatuses, while the Academy Stadium's utilization closes at the gathering stages.
"I'm somewhat disheartened. It's stunning," Gunnarsdottir had told web recording Their Pitch. "Playing in England there are so many arenas and we have a preparation ground from [Manchester] City taking, what? 4,000 observers.
"It's not the regard [we deserve]," she said. "Watch ladies' football today, they are finishing up the arenas. You see Barcelona and Madrid, 95,000 watching the game [at Camp Nou]. [Euros organisers] are not arranged that we will sell in excess of 4,000 tickets."
