The conclusions of Anas Aremeyaw Anas' investigations into Ghana football were questionable, according to Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a founding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He claims that he has never trusted any of the ace investigative journalist's and his Tiger Eye PI team's conclusions.
Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe added that the journalist provided certain 'big guys' an opportunity to 'clean' themselves when he opted to reveal the investigative piece to them first, and since Kwesi Nyantakyi, the man who was implicated in the entire probe has no one, he found himself wanting.
Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe believes that if Anas was truly trustworthy, he would have first presented his results to the general public before granting the 'big guys' such privileges, but because he did not, he (Nyaho-Tamakloe) is convinced that the investigations were designed against Kwesi Nyantakyi.
"The goal of investigative journalism is to surprise people. You don't provide your information to the people [whose names were mentioned in your investigations] if you've been able to gather your information and specific names have been mentioned," he stated on Metro TV's 'One On One' broadcast on Monday, April 25, 2022.
"In that specific episode [Number 12], the President's name was mentioned, the Vice President's name was mentioned, and other persons were named," Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe said.
When those in charge of affairs, whose names have been listed [saw it], they will take steps to clean up their act, as happened in Number 12.
"A lot of people thought that gentleman [Anas] was doing a good job, but I disagree. I've been paying attention as well. "Why do you reveal your results before the entire public finds out?" he inquired.
"Those who were affected were able to clean themselves, but because Kwesi Nyantakyi is defenseless, everyone abandoned him, and he was left to deal with the matter." Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe noted, "But I can tell you that it was orchestrated by his enemies."
He also mentioned that the former GFA President was not picky about some things.
